More Magic…

This is the first chance to write I have had in two days. There is so much to do and only so many hours in the day, then sleep and more fun. We went to Animal Kingdom today. I think this is my favorite park. I love all of the animals! We saw a baby elephant today, it was very cute.

We went to MGM yesterday. Many fun rides and things to see and do. The fast pass system Disney has is beautiful. You get a pass at some point during the day, and it gives you a one-hour window to return. When you return there little to no wait. Similar to Great America’s system, but everyone can do it, not just people with money to burn.

We are going on a carriage ride now. Should be fun, we get champagne!

Dinner

I just had the most expensive meal of my life at the Yachtsman Steakhouse. Luckily as part of our package, the meal was already paid for (although I am pretty sure we got the better end of that deal!) In the end the total was $154, without gratuity! Crazy. I don’t like formal, hoity, toity restaurants, they just don’t fit me. All the etiquette and insincere politeness and formality, it’s just not me. Give me a quiet bar with cheap booze, good pizza, and good friends and I call that 5 star dining.

Epcott

In line for Mission: Space. It is supposed to be very intense. Went to the Adventurer’s Club last night in Pleasure Island. It was pretty neat. Gina was part of the show. We also purchased a monkey nut. It can be seen on request.

Disney

In Disney now. The resort is nice, although nothing free yet. (Has TV lied to me?)

I do not think I will rent from Hertz again; lot’s of problems. I reserved the car on-line and when we picked it up the car the lady there almost didn’t give it to me because I wasn’t 25, luckily I somehow got authorized, but it would have been B-A-D, bad if we couldn’t have gotten that car. I suggested that the person on the phone should have told me, and she assured me that they ALWAYS do. Who was I to argue? I wanted the cheap insurance and she kept bugging me about the medium one. She mentioned a type priced in between the middle and the bottom ones, and i agreed. Turns out I got nohthe middle and other one, which combined was thevsame price as the best insurance. How rude! (Picture Olson twins that still have baby fat.)

Otherwise all is well, currently in line for a ride that is like bumper cars, but you can shoot the other riders with Nerf (C) balls. Very fun, it makes think that all cars should have Nerf (C) guns on them. Could help reduce road rage and they are better than bullets.

Which reminds me, my new biggest (real) fear is being shot on the road if I honk at someone. I mean I want to flip people off, but I settle for a horn honk just so that people are reminded that they did something wrong and so they know that I am there. But, I seriously get scared that someone might shoot me.

Travel

I don’t particularly care for air travel. I have been on 5 flights now, and every time I feel like a sardine. I suppose it is better than driving, but I think the answer is either to perfect the human fax machine, or to learn to apparate.

The clouds were cool though, and I have lots of fun pictures of those. They will hopefully be useful in general science.

I will see Mickey (he’s so fine) tomorrow, YEAH!

The Afermath

Despite what I may have said, today was one of the best days of my life. I can’t imagine the ceremony or reception going any better! Hopefully all who attended feel the same. Also, thanks to all who came. The owner said we out drank his expectations, so mission accomplished!

I don’t always show my emotion well, but everyone said I looked happy, so I am glad that showed through. Off to Florida, YEAH!
