I would like to say that I do not care for the new boys and girl separate singing to get the top 12. It makes it seem less impressive to be in the top 12. I like the shows of 8 better. I really liked in season 2 when in the shows of 8 the only accompany was a guy on piano, that was awesome.

With 12 singers a night and 24 in a week, it is just TOO much. I like 8 in 4 shows and then a wild card show. I am not sure why they changed it. Gina is also opposed to it. I am sure they figure it is more money. Now they have 3 shows a week instead of 2. I guess that is more $$$, but I don’t like it.

I will say, I did like the audition shows, except for the 1st, because they really moved away from being mean and embarrassing people by only like showing the bad ones. The first one was horrible, but the rest were pretty good.

One thing that does sadden me is that Simon, Randy, and Paula have stopped even trying not to laugh during auditions. In the previous seasons they tried to hide it, but now they just do it without reservation. I think it is mean.
